Apparently, this particular holiday lends itself to lots of tomfoolery.
And of course, with kids, tomfoolery never gets old.
We had an early dinner at Texas Roadhouse before meeting up with good friends at our Town Center Park for music, fun, and fireworks.
Can you feel the love?
Music was playing. I think that says it all.Off to Town Center Park to meet up with friends........
No, these weren't the friends we had originally planned to meet.
However, within 30 minutes of our arrival at Town Center park, Mac had met one of the bands, a Motown music group called The Royal Tempts. I'm afraid if Mac had owned a silver vest, he'd have been on stage with them. He already has those same shoes.
Truly, some days it's Mac's adventure, and we're just along for the ride.
Grey, a victim of his own devious silly string plot.
Zane says "Can you hear me now?"
At dark o'clock, the fireworks started. We enjoyed the show and watching it with great friends! It's always nice to be able to watch fireworks without having to worry about fines or burning down your neighbor's house. Yeah, I think fireworks done by professionals is the way to go, at least for this year.
