The Baseball Experience

After a 4 year hiatus from baseball, Grey wanted to make a comeback. However, YMCA summer baseball was not the league for that. I was told by the staff at the Y that it was an instructional league, but that would imply that they are teaching something about the actual game of baseball. There was none of that. I kept telling myself over and over that he's having fun and making friends and that's what is most important. But people, watching the games was "painful" (and I'm quoting the parent of one our teammates.) Seriously painful.
