Grey took part in the annual Bridgefest Run at our local YMCA. It's a big fundraiser for the Y, and the schools really support it and encourage each kid to participate. Grey ran the 1 mile with all the kids in his age group. Holland opted to stay home and relax.
Before the race, I told Grey that he really ought to wear his Nike running shoes, you know, shoes made for running. But he chose to wear his gangsta/skater shoes that he loves.
Here is Grey finishing the race holding one of his favorite shoes which came right off mid race.
Being right can be such a burden sometimes.
