The countdown is over. School has begun. Grey's first week of school went great! He is excited to be a Shadow Forest Shark. He had his first day in the first grade, and his first day at his new school. He handled it all with his usual laid back attitude. He likes his teacher, Mrs Burkett, and he has already made some friends. He doesn't know their names, but that doesn't matter to Grey. He figures he'll get around to that eventually. He had his first bus ride, which he has been looking forward to since he was 4. (I give it another week before that wears off.) He 's lucky because the bus stops at our driveway. No walking in the snow with no shoes, uphill both ways for Grey. So it looks like this year is off to a good start. Only 11 more years to go.....
